About us
We are Mestro. And we’re here for a better tomorrow. Our SaaS platform helps the most prominent real estate owners in the Nordics to spend less energy. By giving them the key to our sleek and smart interface, we encourage them to see, understand and act on their energy usage. Our platform is a loaded universe of collected, analyzed and visualized energy data that guides them into a cost- and energy efficient future. But the journey towards sustainability doesn’t stop there, as our services also include monitoring of transportation, waste and carbon emission data.
The challenge we stand for
Cities stand for more than 70% of the global carbon dioxide emissions. Yeah, let that sink in for a moment. Because it’s what we will do in the cities that will play an essential role in combating climate change. By 2025the EU wants to achieve their goal of more than 100 Positive Energy Districts (PED). This means that we need to be smarter – but also more generous. Buildings, neighborhoods and even districts need to cooperate whenit comes to actively managing energy usage and also start to exchange energy between each other. The purpose of this is to create a positive energy balance annually by local production of renewable energy, local storage, smart energy networks and digitalisation solutions. As our vision for Mestro is to be the center of the energy analysis ecosystem, this is the sweet spot for us. We need to be a part of this urban revolution. And we’d need your help to explore how we can tap into this opportunity. As a Master Thesis student at Mestro you will be welcomed as a member of our lively, inclusive and dedicated team with diverse backgrounds in IT/development, energy, real estate and sustainability.
